KICK start the New Year with a trip to Italy - without even leaving the country.

Voglia d’Italia, the Italian society for South Yorkshire and North Nottinghamshire, will launch its 2013 programme of events tomorrow night at Tickhill Pavilion.

The long-established group is a regular get-together for people with a love of Italy and all things Italian, with regular talks on the country’s food, culture, heritage, geography and travel.

The evening will include various presentations, intended to give new members a flavour of the group and its programme for the coming year.

The event gets underway at 7.45pm at the pavilion in Tithes Lane.

Non-members are welcome to attend, and admission is £3 for all.
