The following crimes were reported to Doncaster police on July 13. Anyone with information should call 101.

Bessacarr: A woman went into the bathroom of her home in Bawtry Road yesterday afternoon and spotted the hand of a burglar trying to climb through the open window. She shouted at him and he jumped off a flat roof to make good his escape. Nothing was stolen.

Cantley: Burglars broke a window in the kitchen of a house on Goodison Boulevard and removed the glass but did not get into the house because police believe they may have been disturbed.

Armthorpe: Thieves forced the side door of a garage in Paxton Crescent on Saturday night and stole a mountain bike worth £100.

Thorne: Intruders broke into a shed in Fieldside and took two mountain bikes valued at £900, a chainsaw and other power tools.

Intake: A man smashed the window of Peter’s Fish Bar in Sandringham Road early today and climbed through to steal the till from the counter at 5.20am. He was about 6ft tall but had his head covered.

Woodfield Plantation: A palm tree was stolen from the front of a showhome on the new Dominion estate on Woodfield Way just before midnight yesterday. The thief was 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build.

Kirk Sandall: Fire crews were called to an area of grassland off Doncaster Road three times on Friday and Saturday night were there were multiple seats of fire which been started deliberately.

Bentley: A metal bin was dragged into an alleyway off Hunt Lane and set alight just before 7.45pm last night.
