A blue badge fraudster has been hit in the wallet with a penalty for hundreds of pounds.
Daniel Wilson, aged 28, of Hawke Close, Rawmarsh, Rotherham, was fined £200 and ordered to pay £309 costs plus a £20 surcharge.
Wilson was sentenced at Rotherham Magistrates’ Court after being found guilty of using his daughter’s blue badge to park in a disabled bay on Corporation Street.
He was also charged with using his daughter’s blue badge to park in a disabled bay on Effingham Square.
Rotherham Council parking services manager Martin Beard said: “The council will continue its campaign against such activities.”
