CCTV released over robbery

Police in Sheffield investigating an alleged serious assault and robbery are trying to identify three women who they believe may be able to assist with enquiries.

Police in Sheffield investigating an alleged serious assault and robbery are trying to identify three women who they believe may be able to assist with enquiries.

POLICE are asking for help in identifying three women in connection with an assault and robbery which left a 37-year-old man with a broken nose and jaw.

The victim, a Somali man, was attacked near the Swim Inn on West Street, between 5am and 6.20am, and had his wallet and mobile phone taken.

He lost two front teeth in the assault, as well as a broken nose and jaw.

A 33-year-old man from Sheffield has been arrested on suspicion of robbery, but police have released CCTV images of three females they need to trace.
