CCTV picture released by police investigating an assault on Broxholme Lane, Doncaster

DETECTIVES investigating an attack near Doncaster town centre which left a man with serious injuries have issued pictures of people they want to speak for their inquiries.

Officers have released CCTV images of several possible witnesses they would like to speak to regarding the incident, which happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday, February 23, near a telephone box on King’s Road at the junction with Broxholme Lane.

It left a 39-year-old man with head injuries.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police would like to speak to the people pictured, as they may have witnessed the incident and could hold information that would assist with the investigation.”
