Cash to help keep warm this winter

AN ENERGY firm is giving Doncaster residents the chance to keep warm this winter.

Carillion Energy Services has funding available for householders to replace their old boilers with new, more energy efficient models under a new initiative.

The scheme is open to those who own their own home or rent from a private landlord and are in receipt of certain benefits.

Upgrading from a G-rated boiler to an A-rated boiler will mean a warmer home and reduced energy bills of up to £300 a year.

The Energy Company Obligation ECO helps to reduce carbon emissions through improved energy efficiency, helping protect the environment whilst also offering people reduced fuel bills and warmer homes.

CES account director Paul Bowens said: “As the winter months close in, a warm comfortable home becomes a necessity not a luxury, but for many people rising fuel rates mean that it is a necessity some people simply can not afford. The new initiative recognises that people may need help and offers the opportunity to reduce bills.”

Doncaster residents that may be eligible will receive a letter from CES with more details of the offer and a full list of eligibility criteria.

If you do not receive a letter and think you may qualify for ECO funding, or would simply like further information, contact CES free on 0800 4087651 for more details.
