A CAR believed to have been stolen was dumped near a Doncaster wood and set alight.

Adwick fire crews were called to Long Lands Lane, near Brodsworth, on Tuesday evening to find the Vauxhall Astra hatchback was ablaze in woodland.

A fire service spokesman said the incident was being treated as a deliberate fire.
