Six children were involved in a horror crash on the M1 in South Yorkshire - when the minibus in which they were travelling overturned.

Five of the youngsters, aged between four months and nine years old, escaped with cuts and bruises but a four-year-old boy broke an arm.

The mother of the children, a 33-year-old Leeds woman, suffered ‘potentially life-altering injuries’ to an arm, while their father, also 33, was unhurt. A 19-year-old man was seriously injured.
