A MOTORIST broke both his legs and fractured his pelvis after losing control of his car and hitting a stone wall in South Yorkshire.
The 24-year-old was driving an orange Kia Picanto along the A627 Huddersfield Road, Haigh, Barnsley, when he ran out of control on a bend on the crest of a hill.
He was taken to Pinderfields Hospital, Wakefield, where he remains in a serious condition.
A police probe is under way. Witnesses to the crash or anyone who saw the vehicle beforehand is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
