A MOORHEN was shot dead and equipment has been vandalised at a Doncaster park.
The bird, one of a pair that had arrived at Cantley Park, was found by volunteers.
Fishing pegs had also been smashed and thrown into a pond along with a wheelbarrow.
Karen Johnson, Doncaster Council’s Assistant Director Communities, said: “We are aware of a number of incidents.”
