Bike stolen from outside Doncaster shop

Police would like to trace this man in connection with the theft of a mountain bike from outside Beckett Road News, Beckett Road in Rossington.

Police would like to trace this man in connection with the theft of a mountain bike from outside Beckett Road News, Beckett Road in Rossington.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the alleged theft of a mountain bike from outside a shop in Wheatley, Doncaster.

It happened at 8.25pm on Monday, December 24, after a 21-year-old man cycled to Beckett Road News on Beckett Road, and left his Appollo CX26 blue and white mountain bike outside the shop while he went inside.

While he was in the shop, somebody took the mountain bike and this was captured on CCTV.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who can identify the man in the images. If anyone has any information, they are urged to contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 951 of December 24.
