Bed blaze in alleyway

FIre crews were sent to Hyde Park, Doncaster, on Saturday night when residents reported a blaze in one of the alleyways.

The firefighters found a mattress had been dumped and set alight in the thoroughfare near houses on Ravensworth Road just after 9.30m. A spokesman said the fire was deliberate.
