Army holds careers clinic for school leavers

A careers clinic for young people who are set to receive their GCSE results next week is being held by the Army at their Sheffield offices in Church Street.

The event is from 2pm until 4pm and will highlight career opportunities which are available immediately.

School leavers and their parents are invited to meet serving members of the Army and senior Army careers advisers to talk about the hundreds of different roles available – from fixing helicopters and building bridges, to driving tanks – as well as the training soldiers can receive, such as apprenticeships.
