Appeal for information after expensive bicycles stolen

Police would like to identify and speak to the man in the following CCTV pictures as he may hold information about two bicycle thefts in Barnsley.

Police want to speak to this man after two expensive bicycles were stolen from bike racks in Barnsley.

Detectives believe the man may hold information about the bike thefts, which occurred on January 13 and 16.

On January 13, a bicycle was taken from a bike rack outside Barnsley College at the Old Mill Lane site on Church Street between 2pm and 3pm.

Then, on January 16, another expensive bike was stolen from a rack at Barnsley train station, some time between 6pm and 6.30pm.

Anybody who recognises the man in the CCTV footage should call South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 233 of January 24.
