FOURTEEN people accused of taking part in a cash-for-crash scam totalling tens of thousands of pounds have appeared at Sheffield Crown Court.
They include Sheffield residents Adam Herbert, aged 25, of Ecclesfield Road; Mohammed Omar Gulzar, 30, of Osgathorpe Road; Shoaib Nawaz, 24, of Earl Marshal Road; Saeeda Bi, 39, of Coleridge Gardens; Osman Bakri, 25, of Rockingham Street; Nasir Hussain, 28, of Morgan Road; and Dusan Pacan, 26, of Cammell Road.
Liam Howden, 24, of Brinsworth Hall Avenue, Rotherham; Safaida Bi, 30, and Kiran Shaheen, 21, of Bradford; Saif Glenn, 24, and Mohammed Abbas Jaffar, 25, both of Coventry; Javed Khan, 46, of Birmingham, and Sami Selam, 36, of Flint, were also at court.
All will appear again in May.
