A listed building will be converted into city centre flats under proposals expected to get the green light.
The Gladstone building on St James Row, Sheffield, will have former offices from the first to sixth floors turned into 37 apartments. The ground floor will remain as commercial use.
Reports to the planning committee next Tuesday say previous alterations removed original features. But the benefits of bringing a listed building back into ‘long term use’ and the contribution towards housing land supply were praised.
