Could someone please answer one important question regarding the millions of refugees fleeing Syria, some give estimates of at least 11 million?

All the refugee men shown on our TV screens seem to be fit, healthy and well fed, so why aren’t they fighting to save their country?

I’m sure the West, especially the UK and the ‘great’ US of A, would be only too grateful to supply them with arms. After all both these countries’ ex-leaders, Blair and Bush, caused the problem in the first place by their interference in the Middle East using a pack of lies in hoodwinking us all.

I am pretty sure, God forbid, if civil war erupted here in the UK our young men, and old, would not be fleeing but staying and fighting to get their country back.

Remember when WW1 started thousands of our men and women couldn’t wait to enrol in our military and likewise when war was declared against Germany in 1939 at the start of WW2.

Why aren’t these millions of fit Syrian men and women doing the same by at least having a go in trying to save their country?
