Have your say

It’s about time we stopped being a soft touch nation. Our country is full, all our services including health, education, crime are bursting at the seams.

There are not enough jobs and getting our own bone idle people working should be looked at. There are not enough houses, either.

Solution, cut or stop immigration, cut overseas aid by 80 per cent. Use that money to train construction workers and build more houses in some of our inner city wastelands. This, along with other work created will get more back in taxes. Then let anyone working give about £5 per week to charities in return for a slight tax cut.

Finally, anyone who comes to live here, should be made to work a minimum three to five years before being able to claim benefits. They should also be made to learn English and this will save millions wasted on translators.
