I don’t really want to join the argument about the felling of trees in busy streets but would you please point out, with people’s right of information, just how much council money is spent in compensation with regard to these trees.

That is, not just the people who trip over the roots and want compensation for injuries, but the damage caused by roots underground, in drains and foundations.

I for one would like to see that figure.
