Let's drink to fair trade

SHEFFIELD workers' co-operative Lembas is urging city folk to drop in for a Fairtrade cuppa during Fairtrade Fortnight.

The awareness week runs from February 25 to March 9 and a coffee morning is being held at Lembas' headquarters - at The Old Tannery, Whiting Street, Heeley - on Saturday March 1 from 9am to 1pm.

Free coffee will be on offer at Starbucks shops throughout South Yorkshire next week to mark Good Coffee Day.

The chain has declared next Wednesday a nationwide Good Coffee Day, to celebrate its commitment to ethical coffee. Customers will receive a tall cup of Caf Estima Blend - a Fair Trade certified coffee - from 2pm until close.
