I read where Angela Smith and others believe the art of first aid should be taught in schools.
How wrong they are.
As a young cadet many years ago I tried to get the parents of these children to make them attend first-aid classes, to make children aware of the good of first aid.
Schools have enough on with the three Rs and parents doing nothing but praise little Jimmy’s skills with his games console.
Let parents take some responsibility for their children.
Maybe there could be some respect from them after being taught.
