VOLUNTEERS are being sought for a road safety initiative involving schoolchildren.
The Peugeot Student Road Safety Awards are being held involving Sheffield schools and the campaign’s creator, Paul Kerr, is looking for people to help educate the next generation of drivers.
The competition is the first of its kind in the UK and aims to encourage pupils aged between 11 and 18 to create unique projects that will help raise awareness of road safety in a suitable way for their age group.
Volunteers are needed to give talks and carry out visits to schools, and will be given full training.
For more details on how to become a volunteer, contact Paul Kerr on 01926 403212 or 07503 684772, otherwise visit www.peugeotstudentroadsafetyawards.co.uk.
