THREE legends of the Lane are set to join club officials at the anniversary of the Sheffield United Disabled Supporters’ Club.
Blades boss Danny Wilson will be joined by club captain Chris Morgan as well as former stars Tony Currie and Tony Agana for a sit-down meal in the new year.
The event will take place in the function room at Brunswick Gardens Retirement Village in Junction Road, Woodhouse on Monday, January 9.
The slap-up meal will commence at 7.30pm.
Sheffield United Disabled Supporters’ Club founder and secretary Janet Ireland, who lives in Woodhouse, arranged the party to celebrate the club’s 14th anniversary.
The occasion will also celebrate the 50th birthday of life-long Blade Nick Tryon who is a member of the club.
She explained that the event is the talk of the town.
Janet said: “Everyone is so looking forward to the celebration.
“All the members are very excited to be welcoming the Lane legends and of course manager Danny Wilson who they can’t wait to meet.
“It’s such a big occasion that even Wednesdayites want to come along.”
