WILDLIFE lovers can learn how to build their own den during October half-term.
Heather and Hot Potatoes, a family-focused day of moorland exploration, takes place at Blacka Moor Nature Reserve, off Hathersage Road, on Thursday.
Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trusts have joined forces to host the free event, which will teach people bout Blacka Moor’s autumn transformation and how to create the perfect woodland den. The workshop will be followed by a bonfire-baked lunch of hot potatoes around a small campfire.
Anyone attending is asked to meet at the Stony Ridge car park at 10am. Call 0114 263 4335 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
