STAFF from a Sheffield law firm have been getting their hands dirty for a children’s hospice.
A team of solicitors and support workers from Wake Smith rolled up their sleeves to clean the garden of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in North Anston.
The employees also undertook handyman tasks to help spruce up the building before taking a tour.
Sandra Hind, volunteer co-ordinator at Bluebell Wood, said: “We want to say a big thank you to the team, from all the families and staff at Bluebell Wood.
“They put in a huge amount of work and made a massive impact on both areas they worked in.
“The garden looked really lovely and the team working indoors did a fantastic job, leaving the room ready for plastering.”
The charity board at Wake Smith, headed by partner Elizabeth Shaw, has supported a number of charities since it was set up two years ago, raising over £10,000.
