Roy Smith, 46, of Clay Lane, Clay Cross. Found guilty of undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods, namely a mountain bike. Pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail. Community order to last 12 months with a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement and a Rehabilitation Activity Requirement. Fined £10 and must pay £10 compensation and an £80 victim surcharge and £230 costs. Admitted committing an offence while subject to a conditional discharge for offences of possession of cannabis and amphetamine. No action taken on the breach.

Robert Harper, of Rhodes Cottage, Clowne. Pleaded guilty to damaging three panes in a shed to the value of £192.17 belonging to Bolsover District Council. Must pay £192.17 compensation.

Cassandra Louise Phillippa Coleman, 27, of Blunt Avenue, Mastin Moor, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to threatening to smash someone’s windows. Fined £120 and must pay a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Gareth Peter Anthony Davis, 28, of Warmwells Lane, Marehay, Ripley. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a vehicle to the value of £1,700. Found guilty of driving while disqualified from holding a licence. Found guilty of using a vehicle without insurance. No separate penalty. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody having been released on bail. Pleaded guilty to stealing a case of Stella Artois and a case of Budweiser lager valued at £16 belonging to the Co-op. Admits failing to comply with supervision requirements after release from imprisonment. Admitted failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order. No adjudication. Dealt with for the original offences relating to the suspended sentence order including two counts of being found in the company of someone he was prohibited from being with by a restraining order and sending a letter to them which he was prohibited from doing by a restraining order, as well as one count of assault. Sentenced to 35 weeks of custody.

Scott Smith, 31, of Brockhill Court, Brimington, Chesterfield. Pleaded guilty to assault. Committed to prison for nine weeks. Restraining order to last until May 23, 2019. Must pay £50 compensation.

Theft

Tina Haslam, 37, of Hollywell Avenue, Codnor, Ripley. Pleaded guilty to stealing a case of Coca Cola valued at £7 belonging to Asda UK. Fined £73 and must pay £7 compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Anthony Puxty, 43, of Leamoor Avenue, Somercotes, Alfreton. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing a wooden chair. Discharged conditionally for six months. Must pay a £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody. Discharged conditionally for six months.

Dominico Deniro, 39, of Derby Road, Chesterfield. Indicated a guilty plea to stealing two electric razors belonging to Boots. Committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months. Must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £40 costs.
