These are just some of the faces of Sheffield residents who are supporting our Know Your Neighbour campaign.
When we launched our initiative earlier this month we asked you to show your support - simply by talking to your neighbour and sending us a ‘selfie’ photograph of you with them.
Reader Penny Stephens has sent us a photo of her neighbour Elaine Clarke with her children. She said: “We moved into our house six months ago. I can not describe how much we have been made welcome by her and her family.”
We have also had a ‘selfie’ sent in by one of our MP candidates - Paul Blomfield. Some photos have also come from staff at Sheffield-based radio station Link FM, who are running the campaign alongside us.
One of these photos shows Sanya Ali talking to him about her university studies with her neighbour Graham Clark in Handsworth.
Another shows Anjum Kausar with her neighbour Patricia Currie in Darnall. Patricia walks past Anjum’s house every day, taking her dog to the park, and she always smiles and says hello.
Other photos have been sent to us by people who use of Pitsmoor Adventure Playground. The manager of the playground, Patrick Meleady, has also been a supporter of the campaign since it was first launched on May 2.
One photo shows children posing with Sheffield heptathlete Rebecca Oliver, and the other shows Erika Berkijova and Monika Cervenakova.
