VISITORS to a South Yorkshire art gallery can try out an interactive kiosk to explore the collections.

The Cooper Gallery in Church Street, Barnsley, installed the interactive computer kiosk thanks to a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The gallery can exhibit only a small selection of its permanent collection at any one time, but the kiosk lets visitors access all 400 paintings, drawings, marbles and bronzes.

A portion of the collection can also be seen on the gallery’s new website.
