A gunman who opened fire and killed a man in a Sheffield street is still on the loose today.
Detectives investigating the murder of 23-year-old Assel Al-Essaie, who was gunned down in a Sheffield street on Saturday afternoon, have not made any more arrests over the shooting so far today.
A 30-year-old man arrested on Sunday night on suspicion of conspiracy to murder was released on bail yesterday.
Mr Al-Essaie was shot in his chest in Daniel Hill, Upperthorpe, at around 1.35pm on Saturday as he arrived at a family gathering to celebrate his twin sister's engagement.
Another man was shot in his chest in Butterthwaite Road, Shiregreen, last week, but at this stage detectives do not believe the shootings to be linked.
Anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 101.
