PUPILS at a Sheffield school have been getting a pizza the action - at an Italian restaurant.
Nonna’s Italian restaurant, Ecclesall Road, was transformed into a bustling pizzeria for pupils of Westbourne School in Broomhill who were invited along to create their own authentic Italian pizzas.
Led my Jamie Taylor, Nonna’s head chef, Westbourne’s brigade of chefs kneaded, dolloped and sprinkled their way to pizza perfection.
Debbie Loasby, Westbourne School’s food technology teacher, said: “The children had a great time – they enjoyed experimenting with the ingredients and loved the chance to get stuck in and experience how pizzas are made.
“And, of course, they enjoyed eating the fruits of their labour too.”
