Kettle black?

Have your say

Children have to be 17 years old to drive a car, 18 years old to buy alcohol in a pub, yet no age restrictions on holding a gun licence in this country. Children as young as eight have been handed shotgun licences by police. Devon and Cornwall, Lancashire, Sussex and Kent forces handed out these licences in the past five years. There were also 670 licences handed out to under 14s in England and Wales since 2010.

Yet we criticise the USA and the like for their attitude towards firearms.

Another case of calling the ‘kettle black’?
