A new summer ale is to be served exclusively at Wetherspoon pubs in South Yorkshire.

Pub manager Garry Carr and shift manager Alex Crowe from The Bluecoat pub in Rotherham helped with the brewing process at Welbeck Abbey Brewery in order to produce the new beer.

It is the third seasonal ale by Welbeck Abbey for The Bluecoat.

Alex, pictured left above, said: “The winter and spring offerings went down a storm with the locals and CAMRA members alike, and we are confident the new summer brew will be just as popular.” The beer – ‘Blame it on the Wether-man’ – will be launched at The Bluecoat on July 11.
