MULTI-platinum selling mezzo-soprano Katherine Jenkins will be coming to Sheffield on tour early next year.
Tickets go on sale this Friday for her Daydream tour which calls in at Sheffield City Hall on Sunday, January 22.
The tour is to promote Katherine’s latest album, Daydream, which will be released on October 10. Controversially, Katherine recently implored her fans not to buy another new album of her material, One Fine Day.
Last week she tweeted: “Considering I haven’t recorded for them since 2008, there is no new music and it’s stuff you already have. Don’t want you to feel conned.”
Daydream will be released on Warner Bros, with whom Katherine signed a record-breaking £5.8 million deal three years ago. Katherine said: “I had an amazing time on my first arena tour but Daydream is a very intimate album and I wanted my tour to reflect that.
“It’s a chance for my fans to see me up close and personal.”
Tickets are available from www.gigandtours.com and www.ticketmaster.co.uk, or Sheffield City Hall on 0114 278 9789.
