Join the song for Euro 2008 ref Howard Webb - AUDIO

Disheartened England football fans finally have someone to sing for - South Yorkshire ref Howard Webb.

It is not every day you get a jingle written especially for you.

But then it is not every day you get millions of eyes watching your every move.

Fans from across the globe were glued to their small screens as Rotherham ref Howard Webb tackled his first Euro 2008 match - hosts Austria's draw with Poland.

The policeman is taking charge of his debut game at this level in Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium as Austria take on Poland.

Jingle writer James Tinney, of The Bar Chord, penned this jingle in a bid to help cheer the ref on to the final.

He said: "Being a jingle writer and not having had much else to cheer about I got to work. So this is introducing the first song ever about a referee, enjoy!"
