RESIDENTS can get local issues off their chests at a council meeting in a Sheffield neighbourhood.
Sheffield Council’s North East Community Assembly is holding a Burngreave Ward Meeting tomorrow , between 6pm and 8pm at Vestry Hall, Burngreave Road.
Items on the agenda are policing, Northern General Hospital parking, upgrading and resurfacing of streets, plans to improve Ellesmere Green and the future of Abbeyfield park house, which needs a new roof costing £150,000 to stay open.
There will also be an opportunity for public questions.
People are also asked to submit questions for a Meet the Cabinet event being held by Sheffield Council on Wednesday, October 31, at Shirecliffe Community Centre, from 6pm.
Questions submitted in advance will be given priority at the meeting - although there will be chance for further issues to be raised on the night if there is time remaining, the council says.
n Residents can send in questions up to seven days before the meeting by contacting Hannah Isherwood on 0114 2037646 or emailing email@example.com.
