Join shoppers at Denaby Xmas Market

Mulled wine, apple cider and homemade jams will be on the menu when a community cafe opens it doors to shoppers next month as part of a festive event.

The Hot Chocolate Lounge, in Grays Courts, will be serving snacks and refreshments to visitors as part of the Denaby Christmas Market this Saturday.

Normally open Monday to Friday, the new community cafe - which is a project of Doncaster West Development Trust - will be serving hotdogs and jacket potatoes alongside its signature Belgian hot chocolate drinks and some special Christmas tipples. Customers will also be able to buy jams and chutneys from Doncaster-based Lisa Jane’s which supplies the Hot Chocolate Lounge and will have a stall selling gifts and produce on the day.

The Christmas market, which runs from 11am until 3pm, will feature a Santa’s grotto, craft stalls, children’s rides, a tombola and a raffle with prizes ranging from shopping vouchers to festive food hampers.
