Young people living on a Sheffield estate are being encouraged to tackle the issues that fire them up and join the ‘Fixers’ movement.
Fixers are young people aged 16 to 25 who want to get their voices heard. Previous projects have covered everything from cyber-bullying, gang culture and homelessness to foster care, eating disorders and legal highs.
How each Fixer tackles their chosen issue is up to them – as long as they benefit someone else.
Now Fixers is calling on young people in the Shiregreen Estate to ‘fix’ the problems they are passionate about.
To get involved, contact Sheffield Fixers’ young person’s co-ordinator Kate Vaks. Visit www.twitter.com/FixersUK, www.fixers.org.uk or email email@example.com.
