FANS of exercise fad zumba can enjoy an extra-long party while raising cash for charity.
A two-hour zumbathon takes place at Ecclesfield Comprehensive School, Chapeltown Road, Sheffield, on Sunday.
The event has been organised by teachers Katy Bush and Caroline Lane, who have held similar events for good causes in the past.
Proceeds from the zumbathon will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Society.
Katy said: “I have hosted zumbathons previously for Rotherham Cancer Care, Breast Cancer Care and Hallam FM’s Cash for Kids and they have been huge successes.”
It costs £5 to take part and spectators are also welcome to come and watch. There will also be a raffle and a cake stand.
The event starts at noon.
