‘MAN with a pram’ John Burkhill is off on a new charity marathon - circling Sheffield on a continuous loop for the next 12 weeks.
The Macmillan Cancer Support campaign will be completing circuits in the city six days a week covering around 90 miles a day.
And he only intends to complete his latest marathon when he has racked up 1,000 miles around the streets of Sheffield.
John will begin each circuit outside The Star offices going out to the Northern General Hospital, then up to Shirecliffe, down to Owlerton and back to the city centre via Shalesmoor.
And he won’t even be having Sundays off.
John has a busy programme of 10k runs and half marathons to keep himself his spare days busy as his fundraising total edges closer to £150,000.
