JUST like the title of their last album, JLS’s sell out gig in Sheffield was ‘Outta This World’.

The fabulous foursome, who shot to fame as runners-up in the X Factor final in 2008, made their grand entrance into the Motorpoint Arena by descending from the ceiling in sci-fi themed costumes to kick off their 4th Dimension show.

And they continued with the futuristic feel of the show with the use of light sabres, 3D backdrops, neon lights and lasers to help transport their fans to another world.

Other spectacular special effects used during their two-hour theatrical set included pyrotechnic flames, explosions and fireworks to help create the wow factor and get fans on their feet.

In another routine the boys put on back packs and danced around the stage with guns firing out smoke.

But it was when Aston, Oritse, JB and Marvin were suspended from the ceiling above their adoring fans - in almost touching distance - that the crowd went crazy and screams reached fever pitch.

To deafening applause from the moment the boys stepped on stage, the boys belted out hits including Take You Down, She Makes Me Wanna, Beat Again, Everybody In Love, The Club Is Alive, I Wanna Love in 3D and So Many Girls.

Their slick, perfectly choreographed set combined high energy dance routines with tracks which had every fan on their feet.

Aston impressed with his trademark backflips and in one space-age-based routine the quartet fought with light sabres while flying through the air, performing spins, twists and flips.

In true boy band style the boys, with their perfectly ripped physiques, blew kisses at their fans, waved and winked as they soaked up the adulation of the largely female crowd.

It may be more than three years since JLS took the pop world by storm, but whatever the X Factor is... these boys still have it.
