Jewellery thieves ransack Doncaster property

South Yorkshire police have launched an appeal to find two burglars who stole a large amount of Asian gold jewellery and cash from a Doncaster property.

At around 3.10pm on Thursday, April 23 it the owners of a house on Crossways returned to find their property had been ransacked.

The offenders, who gained entry through the patio door, took a large amount of Asian gold jewellery as well as cash.

It is believed that the occupants disturbed two men who were seen climbing over the property’s fence before making their way through gardens onto Thorne Road.

The first man is described as white, late teens to early 20s, average build, about 6ft, wearing a black baseball cap with short cropped blonde hair,

He was wearing a light blue T-shirt, light blue shorts and white trainers.

The second man is described as white, late teens to early 20s, average build, around 5ft 10ins with short cropped hair.

He was wearing something covering his lower face, a dark T-shirt with a pattern on the front and dark tracksuit bottoms.
