Two robbers who pinned their victim to the ground after attacking him on his doorstep have been jailed for a total of nine years.

David Edge and Nicky Mikysa knocked at a house in Stubbing Road, Chesterfield, late at night and when the door was opened the occupant was grabbed by the throat and forced to the ground.
He was assaulted and had cash stolen by the men, who then walked off, Derby Crown Court heard.
The 34-year-old victim needed hospital treatment after the robbery, which happened at on May 9 this year.
Edge, 30, of St Augustine’s Avenue, Chesterfield, and 27-year-old Mikysa, of Kendal Road, Chesterfield, were arrested a few days later and charged with robbery.
They both pleaded guilty to the offence and were each jailed for four-and-a-half years.
