It's the real deal as David Dickinson drops in - PICTURES
SOUTH Yorkshire got a taste of the real deal when antique expert David Dickinson rolled into town with a film crew.
The small-screen celebrity was in South Yorkshire to film an episode of Dickinson's Real Deal for the BBC at Doncaster Racecourse on Saturday.
Scores of hopefuls had hunted through their lofts and dug deep into their clutter in a bid to unearth a gem.
Sheffield auctioneer Robert Lea, of ELR Auctions, and some of the firm's specialist valuers were on hand to help.
In the past the company has also worked with Bargain Hunt, Flog It! and Cash In The Attic.
The final auction will be held on Friday, July 10, at The Sheffield Saleroom in Shalesmoor.
