It's a Bard life for fans of the greatest writer - VIDEO
ALL the world's a stage ... well, the top of Fargate is anyway.
Fans of the great William Shakespeare became the stars of the show at a 24-hour non-stop event staged outside Sheffield Town Hall.
Theatre lovers have been given the chance to see and take part in many of the Bard's greatest works - including Macbeth, As You Like It and Twelfth Night.
Schoolchildren, poet Matt Black, amateur actor and passers-by have all taken part in the public reading, reciting and performing of the great man's works.
The session began at midday yesterday with 30 pupils from performing arts school Firth Park Community staging their modern-day take on Romeo and Juliet.
The event was due to continue today with a 'Breakfast As You Like It' where city centre workers could join in on their way to work.
