Sheffield’s world boxing champion Kell Brook is back home after being stabbed while on holiday with his family.
The 28-year-old was knifed during an ‘unprovoked attack’ last Thursday while enjoying a night in the Golf De Sur area of Tenerife.
Kell landed back in the UK last night after recovering in Tenerife’s Candelaria Hospital where he had surgery for a stab wound to his leg.
Media in Tenerife has since reported that the Grenoside-based boxer has “declined to testify before the civil guard” to give his version of events.
Sources close Kell meanwhile, say they believe a warrant is to be issued by Spanish police for the arrest of a suspect in the case.
