Information appeal following Sheffield armed robbery

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a Sheffield supermarket.

The incident took place at the Co-op store on Barber Road, Commonside, at around 10.05pm on December 7.

It is reported that a man entered the store and threatened staff with a large knife before asking for money.

A sum of money was taken during the incident. Nobody is believed to have been injured.

The man is believed to have fled the scene in the direction of Roebuck Road.

He is described as a white man around 6ft tall.
