Thank you, DS, Dronfield, for commenting on my letter. The point I was making was that the Christmas card would have been sent to the delivery office along with all the other items, a postcard printed, then delivered to me with the rest of my post I received on the same day.

All it has cost Royal Mail is a few pence for ink and a postcard. How long does it take to reject an item and print a card? It has cost Royal Mail very little in terms of labour and money. Therefore how can they justify the £2 fee? The inconvenience has been all mine, considering that I have had to go out of my way to collect the card.
