In tune to help hospice appeal

Have your say

AN evening of classical music favourites has raised £4,500 for the appeal to rebuild St Luke’s Hospice.

The summer concert in memory of former patient David Harvey was held at Hassop Hall, near Bakewell, and presented by musicians linked to the famous Royal Northern College of Music.

The audience was entertained with a recital of Mozart’s String Quintet in C Minor, Richard Strauss’s Capriccio String Sextet and Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence String Sextet.
