Members of Sheffield Landscape Trust have rolled up their sleeves to carry out work at a city nature reserve.

They are installing new steps, barriers and safety fencing at East Glade in the Shire Brook Valley Nature Reserve.

The work is being carried out as part of extensive environmental improvements in the area known locally as Silkstone Ravine.

Sheffield Landscape Trust is a partnership between Sheffield Council, Sheffield Countryside Conservation Trust, North Sheffield Conservation Group, Steel Valley Project and Shire Brook Valley Conservation Group.
