Almost 500 people took part in a Sheffield brain charity’s annual run in its most successful event yet. Neurocare – which funds life-saving equipment at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital – is set to smash a £16,000 fundraising target after Sunday’s run at Rother Valley Country Park.

A group dressed as grannies ran in honour of brain tumour patient Chris Stoker. Wilson Field was thanked for sponsoring the run.
